Now that all of Suffolk has been placed in Tier 2, we have looked carefully at the new regulations to determine what activities will be permitted at the Hall. We have concluded that the exercise classes and most other groups will be able to resume because of our Covid-Secure status, provided that everyone maintains strict social distancing and the other rules around sanitising and wearing face coverings where necessary, as before this lockdown.
The Foyer can also re-open to serve coffee and snacks with social distancing and table service only, provided that there is no mixing of households, i.e. only members of a single household (or bubble) to be seated at the same table. We will expand into the main hall if necessary (if it’s not in use) and will be open Mondays to Thursdays 10am – 12noon.
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the wine tasting event but we will reschedule in the New Year and let you know the new date… Richard & Eve will be providing a special selection of wines for the festive season, and we will distribute their list as soon as possible.
If you are due to attend the foot care clinic this Thursday then please do so. Qi Gong is also starting this Thursday, with the foyer opening at 10am with some mince pies and other treats. So, dust off that Christmas jumper and come and join us!
The children’s dance class will also be starting again on Saturday 5thDecember at 10am, and Linda the hairdresser will be here on Monday 7thDecember 10am – 12noon to cut your hair ready for Christmas! Contact her on 07765 971774 to book.
The Christmas Wishes Tree and Book will be ready for you to pen your Christmas wishes too, so do pop in when the foyer is open (Mondays to Thursdays 10am – 12noon), to take part.
Please contact your instructor or group leader for any further information about your exercise class or group restarting date.
