“I would like to start out by saying a massive thank you to everyone who attended the Macmillan coffee morning in the village hall on September 27th.
We managed to raise over £250 with everyone’s support! We had cups of tea, coffee, victoria sponge cake, cheese and fruit scones, gluten free lemon cake, cheese straws, cornflakes cakes, sausage rolls, pizza, JD created some amazing keychains and bracelets from loom bands and EG showed off her crocheting skills by making flower keychains.
We would like to say a massive thank you to Catherine Ash for making her famous honeycomb and shortbread; they were a big hit.
Many people came, and we would like to say a big thank you to Annie for advertising the event in the newsletter and sacrificing the trade from the coffee morning. Also everyone who came from Lapwing, students and staff, parents and other family members, people in the community who came and supported us and Lisa the Head of Education for Lapwing Suffolk”
