Westleton Community Care Network : Emergency Personal Support Scheme
A Community Care Network was established in March 2020 to provide help for people who were unwell or house-bound as a result of the coronavirus epidemic. The Network is currently on Stand-by (March 2021) but will be re-activated if & when necessary
If you are unwell or unable to leave your house because of self-isolation, we may be able to help. We can arrange doorstep delivery of essential shopping for food and medicines, and simple meals if necessary, but our volunteers are not allowed to enter your home.
We are not able to provide medical care. If you need medical advice you should phone the NHS helpline by dialling 111.
If you need an ambulance you should dial 999.
Your friends and neighbours may already have been able to help. However, if you need extra help
please contact either your local coordinator or phone the office at the Village Hall (01728-648354), and explain what you need.
If there is no reply please leave a message with your name, address and telephone number.
Please also contact the office if you live alone, think you may be vulnerable, and would like someone
to keep in touch with you every few days.
The Community Care Network is a voluntary collaboration organised by the
Westleton Parish Council, Village Hall, Women’s Institute and Parish Care team.
