Following the Government’s updated advice yesterday, the Trustees have regretfully decided that all activities and bookings at the hall will be put on hold as from today.
Annie Groves, our Centre Manager, is in self-isolation at the moment, and if you have been in contact with Annie recently please take the appropriate precautions.

We have today formed a Community Care Network with Westleton WI, Gardeners Club and Parish Care to support people in Westleton* during this time and we are meeting with the Parish Council this week. If you are feeling particularly vulnerable and/or you are self-isolating and need some help with shopping, or would just like someone to talk to please contact us on email: centremanager@westletonvillagehall.co.uk or call 01728 648354. If there’s no reply please leave a message with your name and contact details and what you would like help with. We are also working on a plan to deliver basic meals to those who become unwell, and will send more information on this later on.

If you would like to join the team and volunteer your time to help with deliveries, errands, phone contacts etc – please do let us know, contact information as above.

A general leaflet on the Community Care Network will be sent out shortly, and we will be keep posting updates here.
* Please note that this initiative will only cover the village of Westleton itself. We understand that a simlar scheme is getting going in Yoxford, and there may be others too (see https://covidmutualaid.org/ ). We will be happy to share our plans with anyone who wishes to do something similar elsewhere.
