This morning we have the friendly Chess and Coffee Group in the Foyer. They play every Wednesday morning 10am-12noon and welcome new members of all abilities. They are also happy to teach people if you’d like to learn. Don’t be shy, give it a try! Participation in the group is free, you don’t have to come every Wednesday, also all equipment is provided. Later today we have the Chair Yoga in the main hall 2:30pm-3:20pm. Exercises focus on maintaining and improving flexibility and strength. A chair provides support for sitting and standing exercises. This autumn/winter Trish will be focusing on hip strengthening and mobilisation, key for reducing hip pain and problems, improving balance and overall wellbeing. Each session ends with a focus on breathing and relaxation. Join in for a session to experience how this can help you stay active, well and happy. While suitable for all ages, most of us are over 65!
