Westleton Parish Council held a public consultation event in the Village Hall on Monday 5 February 2024.
Safety proposals aimed at curbing traffic speed in the village have been drawn up in association with Suffolk County Council, East Suffolk Council and EDF ahead of the Sizewell C development. Measures are necessary as the SZC construction will increase traffic passing through the village.
The plans will soon be on display in the Foyer of Westleton Village Hall and the text of the presentation can be seen by following this link.
“A very helpful discussion followed the presentation. The PC will now review its position and then draft a paragraph which will explain its position to head a paper with a series of questions for residents to answer.
